Angelphyre saunters into the Bronze sporting her capri's and sandals. "I love the Spring!! *ACHOOO!* Uh...mostly, anyways." She conjours up a comfy chair and a cup of steamy hot mocha. She glances around to see who's at the Bronze on this fine Tuesday morning.

Geo Cool quiz (thanks for the link Werewolf, Where wolf?!) I missed like 4 (mostly cuz I haven't seen Season 5). And question 17, wasn't Sid the vamp from Helpless? or am I nuts? Oh, and here's a funny thought. In Earshot, Xander goes after more Jell-O and sees the Lunch Lady pouring rat poison into the pot...well...having been a "lunch lady" (yes, sad but true) we always made our jell-o the night before...so it could be jell-o and not liquid...just a thought...*grin*

Whoohoo for devil's team! (Honestly, I would've watched it, but since it didn't come on until 3:00 AM this morning..uh..I listened to the radio to find out who won. CONGRATS!)

Bro wants to know, aside from the need to treat Dawn like Bobby Brady, why Buffy won't teach her any self defence, especially with Glory after her?

btw, Glory - not terribly impressed so far. Frankly, I've known people scarier unless her purpose is to annoy the planet into submission. Alas, another lacklustre villian.

Dawn: Just what the Scooby gang needed, I thought, Scrappy Doo. Gak. But no, Dawn is the least annoying kid addition to a tv show, so that's okay. I like her. She's less annoying than Riley ever was for sucking up valuable screentime.

Fembots! Yay! Gotta have the classics ;D

Joss' revenge - if ya wanted to make me feel guilty for wishing for the death of Joyce Summers from epi one, nope. You did however do just a horrible and realistic job of showing exactly what it's like to come home and find a parent dead I was throwing up before Buffy was, and shaking. Thanks for making me revisit that trauma in vivid technicolour. Kudos for getting it spot on and for evoking such a strong reaction, the strongest I've had to a show, ever. It was horrible and upseting but I deeply appreciate the craftmanship.

I think you ruined it with the vamps at the end though. You should have kept it just one episode of real, horrible death. Well done, anyway.

Any chance of Spike getting de-chipped soon?

Any chance of getting rid of Darla any time soon? Or can she go up to Sunnydale and torment Buffy? She's a better villain than Glory, but she's still as scary as a bored yuppie on a commuter train, as my friend so describes her.

cya!

Wes & Gunn 4 ever.
Never gonna happen - I know, don't yell. But as I *know* I'll never ever get to go to a Bronze party, who cares what I think or say?

To the "friend" who said she had my ticket but didn't: ESAD ;p

NuPhalanx: Give me one year of media time and I'll have all six billion humans launched on a jihad/crusade to permanently remove vampires. Heck, just implementing mandatory cremation and having the local priests bless all the water supplies would do wonders for reducing the blood sucker population. Sure would put a damper on vamps showering (yes, I know that would break the hearts of Angel worshippers). Anyone who smelling too funky would be "encouraged" to come out for a noon walkabout on a sunny day. Won't hurt the humans, but sure would help with noontime marshmallow roasts. Of course, it sure would make the shows dull. ;-)

Alas, dear Irene Adler has the presence of mind to grab the Guiness’ before they fall and prior to Rosebud spinning about on a bed of jelly beans and landing a$$ first on the floor

ITS OFFICIAL!!!
NEW EPISODES!

APRIL 17th 2001, they start again:

Taken from TVGUIDE.com!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Tuesday @ 8:00 P.M. on the WB!!
Forever
60 min.
In the aftermath of Joyce's funeral, the Summers girls attempt to cope with their loss in entirely different ways---while the Slayer retracts into numbness, Dawn acts on her fears.
Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) finds comfort by confiding in a visiting Angel, but her sister's inability to accept their mother's death isn't as easily alleviated. Denial leads Dawn (Michelle Trachtenberg) to a supernatural remedy for grief---a magical recipe for resurrection. Willow and Tara refuse to assist with the dangerous spell, but Spike has no such qualms about helping to bring Joyce back. More Dawn-centered danger brews when Ben lets a crucial Key-related clue slip to Glory.

Angel
Tuesday @ 9:00 P.M.
Disharmony
60 min.
The Angel Investigation crew's plans to track down a vampire gang led by a motivational speaker are complicated when Cordy's old pal Harmony (Mercedes McNab) hits town. In a typically flaky manner, vampire Harmony resolves to fight for the good guys, but Cordy's coworkers are unwilling to accept another member of the undead into the fold. Willow: Alyson Hannigan. Doug: Pat Healy. Cordelia: Charisma Carpenter.

Penlid - I've been constantly modifying a theory I have on balnace in the buffyverse and it has some of the same reasoning you used with the duality of a person and Janus. My line of thinking is that since it appears Slayers and vampires may have a common root they will never be able to totally extinquish the other. Whether that is a result of nature or some sort of guiding power (TPTB?) remains to be seen.

Lady Samantha! Thank you for taking care of these sweeties for me, and I'm sure they'll all be just fine...eventually, but didn't you know, dear? You NEVER EVER give chocolate to a Fifth. It's not good for them at all! A little acts like alcohol or a drug, see how loopy they are? This is not good. And any more might have made them seriously ill. A tired Lady Sam wanders into the Bronze.

Grrr, I hate Tuesdays. I have to be in city at 8am and it's a 45minute train ride. But at least I have tomorrow off!

As Lady Sam gets closer to her Famlet's couch you can see there are small movements on her shoulders and in her coat pockets.

Thoin: ****HUGGZIES!**** Aunt-let, I got some new charges for you. Cause you were a sweet Aunt-let I did some collecting for you.

From under her hair Lady Sam pulls out two snuggling Fifths.
One, a male scamp named Son of Adam was caught by speare on April Fool's LOSER board. He was said to "be wanting someone to enforce a set of morals on him". The one snuggling with him is a girl named Avacado. The two hit it off from the second they met. Avacado is one of three fifths (one of which is from the April Fool's 4-8am board) donated by Tenik.
From out of her coat pocket Lady Sam pulls out two more fifths, who, amazing, are still bickering. These are Avacado's siblings.
These two are a bit of a headache, but give them chocolate, especially Hershey bars, and they're little Angels. The girl is named Annalise and her brother is Bob.
Here you go Thoin.

With that the four fifths scamper in turn onto Lady Sam's shoulder to kiss her goodbye before scurrying towards Thoin at breakneck speed.

Algerina: ****HUGGZIES**** Mom-let!

Slayerdaddy: ***HUGGZIES!**** How is you? Good I hope!!!!

With that Lady Sam finally collapses on her Fam-let couch with a tub of choclate ice cream in one hand and her CSA assignment in the other.

We all know that Buffy deserves an Emmy! Let's remind the PTB in Hollywood!

The folks over at ScoopMe! magazine, in association with JossWhedon.net, are spearheading a campaign to get a full-page ad in Variety to encourage those who vote for the Emmys to remember "The Body" when it comes time to mark their ballots. Donations are needed to pay for the ad.

If you want to send a donation (even five bucks will help!) make your check or money order payable to "Silicomm Corporation" and mail it to:

ScoopMe!
c/o Silicomm Corporation
5335 Far Hills Avenue, Suite 222
Dayton, OH 45429
USA
ATTENTION: BUFFY CAMPAIGN

You can find out more about the campaign at www.scoopme.com.

MORE EXCITING NEWS!!!

ScoopMe! originally planned to do one ad, but it looks very possible that if they raise enough money, they can do a second one!

They have learned that The Hollywood Reporter is devoting an entire issue to the 100th episode of Buffy!!! How great would it be to have the second ad run in there?! So they will welcome donations until their deadline of May 22nd!

Taking out ads in the Hollywood trade papers is the way major studios get their projects and actors noticed during the award nomination season. Surely we fans can do the same for Buffy! You bet we can, and don't call me Shirley.

slayerdaddy - *bap*. And my mommy predates air-conditioning, thank you, and I remember a time before Macs (plastic or meat). I don't go back to the old 1401 days, but I do remember an IBM 145 with a whole 512k of memory and a speed of .5 MIP. And when movies showing computers running ran shots of card sorters. Later they upgraded to tape drives.

StGermain - Oh, my mare ran. Nose out, ears back, bit in teeth, fast and without worrying about anything in her path. Like say, barbed wire. It was scary. Took me under a few trees, too. I stopped it, and it took a long and ugly fight one day. We compromised in the end, that as long as she didn't actually take the bit, I wouldn't use that technique, and in the end we tried pretty hard to be courteous to one another. But I never had to push her, and if she let me know she didn't want to be ridden, she didn't get ridden. There was always a good reason.

Penlind - I just worry that the evil side to what Buffy opposes appears to be a pre-Angel (show) Cordelia. There's bound to be some dire significance. And the 'good' side is perfectly willing to kill people. Crazy people, but people. Hmm, and Angel has already had the mis-judged killing. I'm rambling, and on benadryl, but is there any sense to be made of the above?

Claris - I wouldn't refuse fudge on the basis of a very peculiar post with part of the content left out. I could be understanding. It's sort of like your mind. After all, you don't even understand B/A, poor thing. Of course, depending on what evilness your inability to understand brings forth, I could remember that I once made fudge laced with ginger and chili powder. That was for people in a dorm who stole my cheese from the communal refrigerator and left me the rind, though, and your ravings would have to strike a significant chord to put you on that level. *g*

newfan - That was fast! I sent you e before seeing the post.

The benadryl is taking effect. Must go.

StG...Am I going to be thrown out if I answer very quickly? A Wilburite is a strict Quaker order...we dress in non-patterened clothing of few colors and a covering. Unfortunately, due to some awful stereotypes, students become uncomfortable with this, thinking that it means we stand in judgement. As you know from our conversation the other night, nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, many others find us dangerously liberal...especially on such topics as abortion. I cannot condemn it, although I would not choose to have one because of my personal beliefs. I can only explain that I cannot make that judgement for others, and to condemn is not my place. I believe in a God of love and understanding, and leave it in his hands. We tick a lot of people off.

StG...I just reread the posting rules, and I used up my allotment tonight! Sorry. It's just so interesting, every once in a while to get the Bronzers opinion of the subject they know like the back of their hands. Half of the Humanities department are Buffy addicts, but we lack the indepth understanding that all of you have. So while we can discuss the superstition and pantheon, we have no idea how is relates to interloping plotline. None of the others are brave enough to try and pick your brains, so you are stuck with me. StG, if you are here tomorrow, I promise to stay on long enough that we can have a decent conversation...on Buffy or travel or anything else you would like. Clancy has asked that I teach him how to use "one of those contraptions of ..." (computer) so that you two may write unfettered. Have a great night, friend, and hope I hear from you on the morrow.

tiger, hi! Wasn't ignoring you, was off writing fanfic...it's a sickness, I swear!

Claris, I didn't get the 404 error message. Here's the quote you were looking for. Hope it helps...

XANDER: What else did Giles say?

TARA: (shrugs, shakes her head) Not a lot.

XANDER: Are they sure this was ... natural? I mean, Glory.

TARA: Uh, Giles was pretty sure that it wasn't, wasn't her.

XANDER: But, I mean, she said she was gonna come after Buffy's family.

TARA: I don't-

XANDER: I mean, we should be going after her. I mean, she coulda done it, and, and, covered her tracks.

Anya looks confused. Willow reappears, now wearing a pink turtleneck.

WILLOW: Why would she? She'd want us to know.

Xander looks upset.

XANDER: I'll tell you what it is. It's the frickin' doctors. I mean, they just let her out, you know? Clean bill of health. Dig a hole in your skull. Here's a band-aid. Next!

Closeup of Tara looking concerned and upset.

WILLOW: (OS) Xander...

XANDER: They should have checked her over, they should have had her in. Well, don't we have enough monsters in this town, the doctors gotta help 'em out?

WILLOW: Xander, I-I don't think it was ... any ... it just happened.

XANDER: (looks around at the three of them) Things don't happen! (frowns) I mean ... they don't *just* happen. (Shot of Tara looking concerned) Somebody... (shot of Willow) I mean, somebody's got...

WILLOW: Okay. (puts up her fists) Let's go. Come on, you and me. Come on.

Xander stares at her, then sighs. He walks over to her, kisses her on the forehead. Tara watches sadly.

XANDER: You know I can't take you.

WILLOW: Damn straight.

While it is still unknown what the "key" opens, it is rumored that it could possibly open the "hellmouth" that resides amidst the ruins of the Library in the remains of Sunnydale High School, and the master will be waiting firston the other side as soon as it does open, and Geo believes that it DOES open!! hehehehe

Penlind - Crows are very welcome, as long as my dogs and cats are, too. And Irish. :-) I like travel, as I hope you got. However, I alse like home, where the animals and books are. Animal sitters are hard to find (I've had some bad experiences), but more - I love my animals and I miss them when I'm away. I don't get animals to leave them in the yard. :-) But like I said, I wouldn't mind living in another country, and I've found most people are friendly to me. Hopefully because I'm relatively friendly and polite. :-)

Greeting right back at ya! The Edmonton Sun should be online but I can't be sure. It would most likely be found at www.edmontonsun.ca or some such. I've never checked into it as I get the paper every morning. However, I don't know if they'd still have articles from Saturday on there. I'll extract some of the better quotes and post them.

Last week a wonderful reporter wrote how much she enjoyed "Buffy" because, although it was meant for a teenage audience originally, it had none of the typical teenage topics, i.e. who's gotten themselves pregnant, who's into drugs, who's beating up who etc. Sure, it's escapism, the reporter continues, but the plot and storylines are so cerebral you're left thinking about the damn show for hours afterwards. (I am SO paraphrasing her words it's not even funny).

I just find it amazing how these reporters THESE ADULTS with normal lives, ambitions and aspirations, are so hooked on this show. Just a kid's show, eh network execs? I think not.

Paksenarrion--
Thanks for the kind words, Paks. Once in a while, I do surprise even myself.

He has promised to at least limit the goat to the ground floor of the house, but he refuses to get rid of his crows. Told him you wouldn't mind. Hey, last night you said you don't care to travel much...is that because of bad experiences, or have you heard that Europeans are unfriendly? That is completely untrue, I can assure you. I am always mystified when I hear that one. People are people, nice, cranky...whatever, but on the whole Europeans love Americans! American music and movies, and of course TV shows are a universal thread in Europe. Or is it just finding animal sitters for while you're gone?

And there is proof that I will be useless in this conversation...Who is Ethan Rayne? I have watched this past season, and the best I can do, again, if the dual deity was chosen for a reason, is tell you that Dawn is not it (the thing worth preserving) or only a part of it. I base that thought only on the fact that Buffy would have no reason to suppress or try to destroy the very thing she has spent this season attempting to preserve. Maybe the mysterious Tara, who certainly seems to be more than has been revealed thus far, or even Glory/Ben are needed to "complete" the effectiveness of the key. Most common rejection in grief is either denial (this is not happening...if I can just make it through the planning of the jello molds) or anger (I told her to get a checkup...Who would let a teenager drive a car on a night like this?) Because Buffy's role is superhuman, you would have to magnify these reactions...
isolation of grief leading to reckless decisions that lead to a bad killing (?) choice.

Hi, Penlind! - Did you tell Riley you have his new sister in law picked out? ;-)

Hollyn - Hi there! Actually, there are some top-rated show jumpers that are draft horse crosses. In fact, the Irish hunter is a thoroughbred/Irish draught horse cross. :-)

white wings - Irish went through a phase when he wouldn't stop. Not that he'd run away with me - if I was going at a walk, he'd just continue. Not stop until I rode him into a fence. I worried about his eyesight, but it turned out to be plain old stubborness. :-)

Angelique's Faith : forget the B/A 'shippers. One day, they'll join the camp of true believers and ring out cries of "Long Live the Evil Triumvarate!" Until that day. we must simply allow them to go about their business. It's not their fault that they haven't reached that higher plane of existence that the rest of us decent people have attained. They'll get there.
And just WAIT until my newest project hits the Bronze. My sister saw it, and I warranted a "biatch!" They'll be crying for blood. I can't wait!

OzLady : See, THAT was a more believeable I love you...the other one was Bacardi induced. Not quite as convincing.

BTW, that's 4 articles I've seen in the 'Sun in 2 weeks on "Buffy". Things are just gettin' hotter and hotter for this show!
Not just the war but specs for the season finale! It's all so amusing.

Well, maybe a little. In places. But not much. Really. You might like it. It's almost done and then I'm shipping it around to a few folks for reactions before figuring out how and where to post the darn thing.

I know I'm in trouble when I like something I wrote. That's never a good sign...

StGermaine,

That's what they'd always "tell" me. Not the horn! Like Catholic nuns on horseback, slapping away my hand.

You do know I put the horse breed question down for your pleasure? "Penny Horse" for Xander. Will he never receive any respect? :)

Penlind,

A second season episode, Halloween, has Ethan Rayne praying to Janus. Someone broke the statue. Angel?

I'm not certain if personal grief leads to one's desiring to destroy part of oneself. Hasn't happened to me.

Buffy will be facing herself
and a personal temptation that would change her forever, if she succumbed to the
gratification,ie-rejecting or killing something that should be preserved.

Why would Buffy be tempted? What is the "something" that should be preserved?

Hollyn,

Draft horses are for wagons! Which character could best manage a team of Clydesdales?

My sister is simply the best!
I just received a box of "Buffy" lollipops in the mail that she found in a Dollar Store in Vancouver. Too bad I'll never have the heart to eat them.......

Thoin--
Our Edmonton newspaper has been printing a "Buffy" article at least once a week--many reporters are speculating about the final episode. One writer claims that Joss will make the last, and 100th episode, the biggest bang yet. Therefore I tend to disagree that the season finale will emphasize the role of "family" but certainly will involve it. Joss did the family/group cohesion thing in last season's finale. I speculate that it will, indeed, be so big that we will all simply fall back in our chairs/couches/reclyners etc and blink in silent astonishment with our mouths agape. I see that. Very big, very bold, very Joss. Like getting a nasty paper cut and not realizing until a little while later that it's bleeding and damn, it STINGS.

Wow, I'll be lurking within the Bronze THAT night!

Hi everyone!

WG...Just an opinion, but if there is a remote chance that the researcher is indeed selecting certain deities based on historical aspects, Glory and Ben, the dualistic deity, the Janusian representation, stands for ourselves. We each carry a good side and a bad side, and the dual diety of history shows our struggle to control the undesired aspect. Personal trauma is the catalyst, the temptation to destroy a part of ourselves in our grief. Example would be Odyesseus' seven year tryst with Calypso, and then his need to completely reject her and his personal paradise once he is reminded in a vision of his obligations. Buffy will be facing herself and a personal temptation that would change her forever, if she succumbed to the gratification...ie-rejecting or killing something that should be preserved. Not knowing as much about the character and supporting plots, that something you Bronzers would have to figure out.

White Wings, hon, I love horses, I'm just terribly allergic to them, so I can't spend as much time around them as I'd like, so I don't know as much about them. I rode a few times as a young child with only minimal problems, but hit adolescence and ended up in the emergency room every time I got around a horse. Which is a real shame, because my sister was offering to buy me riding lessons at that point. Sigh. And the last horse I was able to ride was one of those cranky old mares who decided she was going to stay by the bars all afternoon no matter what I did. I finally, after an hour and a half, coaxed her onto a trail and she basically tried to knock me off in a small stand of trees. It was the worst afternoon I'd ever spent on a horse and it was, regretfully, my last time. After that the allergies got too bad to even be near horses. Sigh...and I really loved riding. Never got to be any good at it, but really loved it.

You didn't find the quote amusing? Maybe I should let you in on the rest of the magazine interview:
After one "Cut!" the 6- foot- 1 actor does a dead- on impersonation of Christopher Walken. After another, he stares intently at the top of the officer's head and asks, "Do you dye your hair?" Everyone on the set, the cop included, laughs. No one seems at all suprised by Boreanaz's antics.
"We named him Captian Non Sequitur for all the oddball comments he'd make." says JAmie Blanks."

Ok THoin, then we have the questionair he filled out:

Q: Have you ever successfully deployed a pick up line? Be honest.
David: yes. 'I like that dress, but it would look better on my floor in the morning.'

Q: Any advice for someone going through a breakup?
David: Go outside and run through the woods naked.

Now Thoin, show that to little Salmy...

Oh.My.Joss. I forgot to yay the evil apprentice.

Yay Claris

Antipodean - THANK you for reminding me!

StGermain - "It's always the rider's fault." *g* And so it is. But if you live to ride another day, it's a triumph in my book. It seems to me that thoroughbreds are often very honest and forthright. Their movements are springy enough that it is easy to come unbalanced even if you can see it coming. I had a mare once who would try and run with me if she got in a snit, at least for a year or so, but on the other hand, any day that she didn't want to go forward I got off and worried about her - and in 17 years I never felt that I had been tricked. We finally got on pretty well. Yes, the ground is harder, and the lunge line is our friend. Only, I found that while I couldn't necessarily do a good job of riding excitable animals, on the lunge line they'd go all sleepy. I'd like a decent show of alarm over the whip or a thrown stone. *sulk*

Amberlynne - How are you holding up? You've missed most of the deluge of "why do we have reruns", haven't you? *g*

Thoin - Poor Thoin. Horses don't seem to be as fascinating to the non-rider (or non-former rider), for some obscure reason. Can't understand it. I'll bet Knights of Byzantium ride when they're at home. Wherever that is. They seem pretty old-fashioned. There, was that on-topic?

agslayer - Neat quote. Yes, I can see how that might slow a director down. Hee.

Laurence - How's your evil spawn doing? Keeping you alert at night?

slayerdaddy - Hey, are you on Ol' Lightnin' or Older Lightnin'?

Wolfguard - Neither the mane nor the saddle horn (if you ride western, which I don't) are there to keep you on the horse. You should be able to manage with balance and good legs adn seat. BTW -

Buffy - Quarter Horse
Willow - birthday party pony
Angel - Irish hunter
Xander - Grocery store penny-pony
Giles - Thoroughbred

agslayer, ohhhh-KAY. And now I'm hoping little Salmy never asks, 'cause I don't wanna hafta be the one that tells him...it could scar the poor little guy for LIFE!

Your Fifth, your name...but sheesh!

Wolfguard!!! My topicy friend!!! Oh, thank you! I needed this tonight. Silliness abounds and I wanted to sink a tooth into SOMETHING juicy tonight...(my sister's spaghetti wasn't it, unfortunately)

Whither goest the Joss? Hmmm...lemme see if I can channel him a bit...nope. He's not answering. I guess I'm on my own on this one. Pity, his answers would have been MUCH better than mine, I'm sure.

Earlier in the year, Joss told us that this season was about the "family" coming together again. But no matter how much he's shown us "the family" and how it's "coming together", he seems to be showing us more how it's NOT really coming together at all.

Yes, the gang rallied when Xander was split in two. And they rallied for Tara when her "real" family showed up. And they rallied for Dawn's sake when Glory arrived. And they rallied for Buffy when Joyce died. So the "family" has indeed come together.

BUT...

They're not really "together" at all, are they? Willow and Anya's mutual hostility is out in the open with no resolution in sight. Buffy has lied to the others and kept secrets. Willow simply used and abused every priveledge she had at the Magic Shop and decided that what Giles didn't know couldn't hurt him. Xander, who knew that Riley and Buffy were coming apart at the seams, told no one until the split was happening in earnest. Tara kept personal secrets about her own family and her magickal activities not only from Giles and the other Scooby's but from Willow, her "significant other", not exactly indicative of trust.

So how "together" IS this "family" that Joss has built?

I think the episodes leading up to the season finale will show us the growing cracks in the Scoobies defensive armor. As a "family" they are strong, but until they REALLY come together as a group, cohesively working together and not just "in tandem" they won't accomplish much. I think the 100th episode will be more about how this "coming together" happens than any Big Bad in any universe ever created.

Because Coming Together has been a primary theme in both Buffy AND Angel (to an extent) this past season. Joss wouldn't leave such a nice juicy thread just...dangling...now would he?

I mean, he's evil, not totally crazed...

Greetings slayerdaddy

Thoin,

I posted this topic a few hours ago. A couple of responses. Look, I'd get more reponses if I offered a survey, " What would be each character's favorite horse breed?"

But I'll have none of that! *g*

Topic?

Where do you think Joss is going with the season's ending?

Some items of possible use in pondering this question:

(1) What does the "Big Bad" represent?

An Interpretation of Seasons Past

(a) 1st - The Master / Traditional Evil Leader

(b) 2nd - Angelus / The Shadow Boyfriend, Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde

(c) 3rd - The Mayor / Authority

(d) 4th - Adam / Frankenstein, Technology uncontrolled. Dr. Walsh / Knowledge at any price.

(e) 5th - Glory & Ben (?) / ????

Buffy takes the dying monk's story at face value. The Byzantine Knights behave with moral
certainty. They chant.

Buffy is still only the tactical radical.

Anton Chekovian Elements

This is the Russian playwright who said a gun should not be placed in a scene if it were not to
be used before the play ended. What are some new elements that have been added to the
Buffyverse?

(a) Willow's dangerous teleportation spell.

(b) Spike's commissioning of the BuffyBot.

(c) Dawn's comment to her friend in The Body that she wish she had ~"powers," she would blow
up so and so's head.

(d) The Watcher Council appears to be at Buffy's beck and call.

So what does Joss have up his sleeve? In his shoe heel?

We do not see things as they are, but as we are. - anon.

Gone for awhile

WG

Laurence,

LOL. I think what may be happening is thinking. One hundred words prime the brain. A day or two to let the undermind play with the thoughts, then a demanding 3000 word day as the magic is released. Repeat, again and again. *g*

Geo,

I did not read your quiz. My mind's eye just shied away from the format. The eye has to page down and there's the temptation to page down fast. It also takes up a relatively large amount of board space. This may be the source of some's complaints. Do you know how to use tags to create small script?

Daysleeper,

I can write short pieces off the cuff, though even then, tend to look for a kernel to build around. Longer pieces are outlined. Even then, I never try to write a "perfect" piece. Perfection has stop-hit many a first writer. Also like to write as one might paint.Sketch an outline. Go over a piece here or there. Come back. I've written "fanfics" where one subplot is written before the other. Then tighten common elements and interspace.

StGermain,

I've only read his novel theThe Gemini Twins. And a page turner it was.

Aren't manes for grabbing? Isn't that why horsey's have them?
